Current research
Using my background as an industrial PhD student in optical imaging and smartphone-based monitoring for inflammatory skin and nail diseases, I am partnering up with leading industry specialists to design and conduct virtual trials on new treatments for early stages of skin cancer. Virtual remote assessments and in vivo imaging techniques can substantially reduce the number of on-site visits and skin biopsies, making participation in clinical trials more convenient and treatment less invasive for patients.
Main interests
- Non-invasive imaging modalities
- Image driven biomarkers
- Virtual clinical trials
- Cosmetic outcome assessment
