I am currently involved in a research project where we explore how artificial intelligence (AI) can assist in analyzing skin scans of basal cell carcinomas (BCC) using LC-OCT. The project focuses on the stability of the AI's 100% scores across different scans and examines how frequently these high-score sequences occur. A key element of the project is assessing the potential for augmented intelligence – where AI supports, but does not replace, clinical decision-making.
