Danish Research Center for Skin Cancer launches homepage

The new digital platform shares valuable knowledge for individuals as well as researchers and physicians.
The website is developed in collaboration with design agency, b14.

Just over a year after its founding, the Danish Research Center for Skin Cancer is now ready to open its digital doors to the public. As the center’s research activities and associated experts are spread across the country, the website will function as the unifying knowledge hub for the center’s latest research and guidance on skin cancer.

Danish Research Center for Skin Cancer is a private-public partnership between Private Hospital Molholm, Aalborg University Hospital, and Bispebjerg Hospital.

Valuable information for citizens

As the most common form of cancer, around 35,000 cases of skin cancer are diagnosed in Denmark each year. Therefore, one of the website’s primary focus areas is helpful information and guidance on preventive behavior that reduces the risk of sun damage and thus the risk of skin cancer.

In addition, private individuals can also find information on different types of skin cancer and their treatments.

Knowledge sharing with physicians and researchers

As the digital hub of the Skin Cancer Knowledge Centre’s professional work, doctors and other experts have easy access to the Centre’s latest research on risk factors, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of skin cancer.
