Current research
My primary research focus is to improve and expand the use of mass spectrometry imaging within the field of skin cancer. The technology has shown great potential as a tool in both clinical and research settings. The goal is to translate technological advances within the field to products of clinical relevance for patients suffering from skin cancer. A key factor in this transition is the application of machine learning in the aim of automating and improving the categorization of biochemical differences between healthy tissue and different types of tumors.
