Current research
My research primarily focuses on the treatment of skin cancer in office-based dermatological clinic, based on data from the Skin Cancer Database, and as a co-supervisor on a PhD project about teledermoscopic collaboration between general practice and dermatological specialist practice for the triage of keratinocyte carcinomas and malignant melanomas.
Short description
Chairman of the Skin Cancer Database steering committee, participating in research and quality work for the development of skin cancer treatment in Denmark. Steering committee member of the Danish Melanoma Database. Lecturer for medical students at Aalborg University and weekly courses for general practitioners. Chairman of the DDS Continuing Education Committee, which organizes the annual continuing education course for Danish dermatologists. Co-supervisor on a PhD project in the Region of Southern Denmark on the validation of teledermoscopy for skin cancer.
