Strong Representation at Photobiology Congress in Italy and Recognition for One of Our Young Researchers
From August 25–28, the European Society for Photobiology held its 21st congress. This year, the congress took place in Bari, in the beautiful and sunny region of Apulia, Italy – a fitting setting when the focus is on UV light and its effects. Five researchers from the The Danish Research Center for Skin Cancer were on the program, presenting their research.
In addition to this impressive representation, we are proud that Postdoc Celina Pihl had a particularly special role in the program. Celina was honored with the ESP2hD award for her research in systemic photoprotection. The award is given to a researcher who has delivered exceptionally high-quality research in the field of photomedicine. Congratulations to Celina!
